With summer just around the corner, I know there are many out there who are thinking about making a new travel trailer or fifth wheel purchase before the 2011 RV season get’s going in earnest. For the active crowd out there, have you thought about a toy hauler? More specifically a Fuzion 260 Toy Hauler? This travel trailer has many great features and terrific benefits making it a great RV to feature this week on the Lakeshore RV Blog.
There are many terrific toy haulers on the market, but for the average Joe that likes to bring his gear along on weekend camping trips, I think a mid-size toy hauler RV like the Keystone 260 Fuzion Travel Trailer is ideal. With a 10′ 4″ cargo area, the possibilities are endless:
- Hunters: This Fuzion is your cabin in the woods and allows for easy transportation of your ATV or side by side hunting vehicle.
- Racers & Weekend Warriors: There’s room for a couple street bikes, dirt bikes, a four wheeler or two, go-karts, bicycles, etc.
- Golfers: Want to bring your customized golf cart along with all your clubs? There’s room!
- Hobbyists: There’s room for BBQ grills, home improvement tools, arts and craft supplies, full-scale model airplanes – the possibilities are endless!
I am an amateur mountain bike racer, I race all over the state in various events from May through November and if I ever had the budget (bikes aren’t cheap), the 260 Fuzion Toy Hauler would be perfect for me. I could easily haul my bikes to the races and the cargo area is spacious enough that I would have plenty of room to wrench on my bikes or set up my spinner for quick pre-race warm ups. There’s loads of overhead cabinet space for ALL my gear, a great kitchen to prepare healthy meals necessary for successful rides, a residential style refrigerator with plenty of room for my favorite post-race micro brews, a large queen bed front suite that would guarantee a good night’s rest, a large side-aisle bathroom to clean up after dusty races and plenty of space to rest, relax and recharge after a long day in the saddle. My favorite piece of furniture in the floor plan would have to be the custom reclining chair – it sure looks comfortable! Since bike racers in general are cheap and are usually in search of low-cost accommodations on race weekends, there is a single electric lift bed and couch combo in the cargo area that provides extra accommodations and sleeping arrangements when the moochers show up to claim the couch. There’s also a 200 Watt premium stereo with CD/DVD player, a 32″ flat panel LCD HDTV, 4 interior speakers, 2 all weather exterior speakers, a 400 watt amplifier and 10″ Sub-woofer in an enclosed speaker box that will make this Fuzion the place to be for post-race parties.
In my travels, I’ve slept in the back of my truck, on couches and apartment floors, in cheap hotels, at the race promoter’s house, etc. on race weekends and I can’t tell you how much better race weekends would be with a home-base like the Fuzion 260 toy hauler.
Now that you know how I’d utilize a Fuzion RV, how do you plan on using yours? Already have one? How are you utilizing the great features in your Fuzion travel trailer? I’d love to hear how other RVers are using their Keystone Fuzion RVs! Please share in the comment field below!
