Registering your RV in Nevada

All recreational vehicles must be registered in Nevada. The process is the same as registering a car. Your fees are dependent on how big your RV is. You must bring your insurance card, inspection report, title, application and payment for registration to your local DMV. Find more about registering your RV in Nevada here.

Insuring your RV in Nevada

If your RV is driven rather than towed behind the vehicle, Nevada law requires you to carry the following minimum liability insurance of $15,000 for bodily injury for one person in an accident, $30,000 for bodily injury for two or more people per accident and $10,000 for injury to or destruction of property in one accident. With the expenses of medical costs and RV costs rising, the minimum liability requirements may not fully cover the damages or injuries in an accident so many owners opt to add additional coverage.
