March brings the Kobalt 400, Mopars at the Strip, and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Opening Night to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and this is just the beginning. Many campers are looking for a place to set up for the time. Being close to the speedway is beneficial but can be hard to find so book your site as far in advance as you can to ensure you’ll get one, and then show up as early as they allow so you can get the spot you want.
Camping At The Speedway
Las Vegas Motor Speedway offers 8 different lots where you can park an RV and camp! Most of these sites offer a view of the track too so that makes them that much more desirable. The lots include Burn Out RV Lot, Burling RV Lot, Boulevard RV Lot, Infield Lot, Motorhome Hill, Turn 3 RV Lot, Turn 1 RV Lot, and Checkered Flag RV Lot. There are companies that will provide services such as portable restrooms, showers, pumping services, water, and propane. Pets are allowed on leash if you clean up after them.
Hitchin’ Post RV Park
Located just over 5 miles down the road from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Hitchin’ Post RV Park is a great alternative. They offer almost 200 level, pull though RV sites with full hookups. Free cable and Wi-Fi will give you something to do during your down time if you happen to find any. Showers and bathrooms are available, a swimming pool, and two dog runs should help keep everyone happy! You can even book your site online and take a virtual tour to get a feel for what the place looks like.
Las Vegas RV Resort
Just 10 miles from the track, you’ll find Las Vegas RV Resort. Here they have 390 full hookup sites, a pool, Wi-Fi, and even propane delivery! Bring along your furry friends because there’s a place for them here in the designated pet area. They even have bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities with a fitness center and spa! You may want to book yourself a few extra days so you can enjoy everything they have to offer! Book online early. Those 309 sites fill up fast especially during race time!
Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort
About 30 min South West from the track is the Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort. Seven hundred and one beautifully landscaped full hookup sites can be found here. You will also enjoy a pool, spa, mini golf course, and fitness center! This site even has a fully stocked convenience store for anything you may need to create meals, or a restaurant of you would rather not cook at all! Reserve your spot online before they’re all full!
