The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series visits another 1.5 mile track this week as they head north to Kansas City, Kansas. The STP 400 at Kansas Speedway is the first of two visits the Sprint Cup series will make to the track this season. Last October, Kasey Kahne set a new track qualifying record on the newly reconfigured track, while Matt Kenseth won the race. Denny Hamlin is the defending champion of the April race at the 72,000 seat track. Many of those fans will be camping for the weekend.
