Dolliver Memorial State Park is located in northwest Iowa. It’s known for the natural bluffs over the Des Moines River Valley. Natchez State Park is located north of the historic Natchez. Before the Civil War, this area was home to wealthy families and their large mansions. Many of these mansions are open for tours and attract many visitors throughout the year. RVs staying at Natchez have 50 sites to choose from. Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park has rock formations that carve through the mountain range creating pools and rapids. The campground is open year round and offers basic, full hookup, and equestrian campsites.


Whitefish Lake State Park is the perfect place to camp to enjoy boating, swimming, water skiing, and fishing. The lake is calm with scenic mountain views. The campground is located in a forest area off the lake with a private beach. The campground has a bathhouse, restroom, and convenience store. Most sites do not have hookups and provide a more rustic experience.


Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is located between Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska’s two largest cities. This is a favorite spot for families to travel and escape into nature. There is an aquatic center, indoor playground, hiking and biking trails, treetop rope course, indoor rock climbing, sledding, and ice skating. The campground has 148 campsites with full hookups including electric, water, showers, restrooms, and dump stations.

New Mexico

El Vado Lake State Park is located in New Mexico’s northern mountains offering a serene environment for all types of RV travelers. New York

Fair Haven Beach State Park is located in upstate New York on the eastern portion of Lake Ontario shore. Scenic views, sandy beaches, and towering bluff make this one of the best waterfront campgrounds in New York. The park has 1500 feet of sandy beach and 600 feet of guarded swimming access. North Carolina

Holden Beach RV Campground is located on the shore of North Carolina. If you love swimming, fishing, kayaking, surfing, or hiking, you’ll love this RV park. North Dakota

South Dakota

Attractions nearby include Mount Rushmore which is a 45 minute drive from the park.


Reelfoot Lake State Park Is located in the northwestern part of Tennessee. The lake was created by earthquakes in the early 1800’s that caused the Mississippi River to flow backwards, creating a 15,000 acre lake. Galveston Island State Park is located on southern Texas’ gulf shores. Travelers come to camp at Galveston Island State Park to stroll the beaches, swim in the waves, fish, picnic, bird watch, hike, mountain bike, paddle, enjoy nature, or just relax. Great Salt Lake State Park Is located on the southern part of Great Salt Lake. The campground is open year round to visitors and accommodates RVs up to 40 foot long. Each campsite has water, firepits and electricity. There is an onsite dump station. Travelers enjoy boating, hiking, biking, fishing, golf, and off road vehicles such as ATVs.


Button Bay State Park overlooks Lake Champlain and the Adiron Mountains. It’s named after the concretions formed by clay deposits that look like a button. Kiptopeke State Park is located on the southern end of the Delmarva Peninsula and offers recreational activities on the Chesapeake Bay. West Virginia
