Here is what you will need to get started:
6 slices of bacon (or turkey bacon)
½ chopped onion
1/3 chopped green pepper
8 eggs, beaten
1 10 ½ ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup
Tablespoon measuring spoon
- Begin by placing your bacon into your skillet and fry over your campfire until bacon is golden brown.
- Next, use two tablespoons of bacon drippings in your skillet to sauté the chopped onions and green pepper.
- In your mixing bowl, blend eggs with cream of chicken soup, crumble add the cooked bacon and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour egg mixture into the skillet with the onion and green pepper. Cook over the fire until the eggs are set, making sure you stir occasionally.
Serve with whole wheat toast and orange juice for a complete breakfast!
