This is the tallest, longest, and fastest dive coaster in the world, peaking at 223-feet tall, 75 miles-per-hour, and complete with a scream-inducing pause that builds suspense for one of the best rides out there! The top thrill dragster, despite being almost 15 years old, once held the title of the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world, and is still extremely popular, as is the Millennium Force, which broke six world records when it opened back in 2000. The Maverick is a wonderfully wild ride that shouldn't be missed, but you should really try out the beyond-thrilling Gatekeeper, which breaks seven world records! That is what's so great about Cedar Point—even if you visited last year, chances are you'll be able to ride something new and exciting this year!
If you want to take a break from roller coasters, Cedar Point features plenty of other fun thrill rides for the family. From carnival rides like the Scrambler and the super-daring SlingShot to even some refreshing water rides, the screams will be plentiful! The park is known for removing older rides and replacing them with new thrills (anyone else miss the Demon Drop?). Personally, I love the swinging and spinning action of maXair!
If you're bringing little campers along with you, no worries! Cedar Point features plenty of fun family and kid's rides that are sure to have your kids reminiscing for weeks. Bumper cars, carousels, and a Ferris wheel provide classic fun, but the Peanuts-themed rides and activities will entertain the kids for hours.
