Lakeshore RV Center
It is that time of the year when baseball fans get excited.
A new season is on the horizon and hope rises eternal for all baseball fans.
Spring training is right around the corner and RV campers will be flocking to both Florida and Arizona to watch their favorite teams.
When the 2013 Florida Grapefruit League season begins in late-February, it will be the 125th Anniversary of Major League Baseball Spring Training in the state of Florida.
This tradition has evolved from a time when players got into shape from the off season at fields around the state of Florida.
Here are the Florida cities that host Grapefruit League games each year:
• Atlanta Braves – Lake Buena Vista
• Baltimore Orioles – Sarasota
• Boston Red Sox – Fort Myers
• Detroit Tigers – Lakeland
• Florida Marlins – Jupiter
• Houston Astros – Kissimmee
• Minnesota Twins – Fort Myers
• New York Mets – Port St. Lucie
• New York Yankees – Tampa
• Philadelphia Phillies – Clearwater
• Pittsburgh Pirates – Bradenton
• St. Louis Cardinals – Jupiter
• Tampa Bay Rays – Port Charlotte
• Toronto Blue Jays – Dunedin
• Washington Nationals – Viera
For this blog, I would like to focus on three RV Parks near these major league spring training sites.
