RV Camping Near Phoenix International Raceway

I kicked off my weekly blog of RV camping near NASCAR race sites last week with the Daytona 500.

With the all the glitz and glamour of the 500 behind them – the NASCAR season really kicks into gear this week.

The series travels to Phoenix, Arizona for the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at The Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale.

The raceway features camping opportunities inside the track, but I would like to feature three RV Resort’s that are all a short drive from the track.

Leaf Verde RV Resort in Buckeye, White Tank Mountain Regional Park in Litchfield and Desert’s Edge RV Park in Phoenix.

LEAF VERDE RV RESORT

This 377-site RV Resort is located 25 minutes from the raceway in nearby Buckeye and offers the following:

272 pull-thru sites for Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, and Toy Haulers
Big rig friendly
30 and 50 amp service
Dump station
WiFi access
Heated pool
Recreation and laundry rooms

Daily rates are $34 for full hookup and $190-$210 for full hookup on weekly basis.

WHITE TANK MOUNTAIN REGIONAL PARK

This is a 30,000 acre regional park located less than 15 minutes from the raceway in nearby Litchfield and offers 40 full hook-up sites for RV’s and also offers:

Spots for Fifth Wheels, Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, and Toy Haulers
Electrical and water hookups
Dump station
Picnic table
Barbecue grill
Fire ring
Toilets and showers

Rates range from $36 per night for shaded sites to $25 for developed sites.

DESERT EDGE RV PARK

DESERT EDGE RV PARKThis RV Park offers 206 sites and is approximately 25 minutes from the raceway on Phoenix’s north side and offers:

Pull thru sites for Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Motorhomes, and Toy Haulers
Electrical, water and sewer services
Free WiFi
Picnic table and patio area
Heated pool

Rates run from $47 nightly to $290 weekly.

The Phoenix International Raceway


The raceway itself also features both a reserved and an unreserved campground area for recreational vehicles like Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Motorhomes, and Toy Haulers
Includes:

Public showers
Dump station
Daily trash pickup
Supermarket on site

Rates start around $60 per night.
