Delaware is located on the mid-Atlantic coastline, with low elevation and variations in climate, making it a popular destination for RVers. Delaware is the second smallest state in the US, but it has many attractions that draw visitors every year such as the Delaware Seashore State Park, Winterthur Museum Garden and Library, and the historic Fort Delaware defense facility to name a few. The state is full of history and great places to explore, or just relax and enjoy a scenic coastline with your family. Treasure Beach RV Park & Campground

Treasure Beach is right on the water making it an ideal place for RVers to relax and soak up the sun. The RV park is 100 acres of prime campsite locations with a serene surrounding environment. All sites come with water, electricity, sewage, and cable. The resort sits on the Assawoman Bay, close to Fenwick Island, the Outlet Mall, and Ocean City’s famous boardwalk. Treasure Beach Resort provides fun for the whole family, confort, and convenience. Bathhouses with hot showers are located throughout the park.

Cape Henlopen State Park

Situated at the mouth of the Delaware Bay, Cape Henlopen State Park has 6 miles of coastline. The point of the cape Henlopen is where Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. This scenic landscape attracts thousands of visitors who enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing, hiking, and biking. The campground is set among pine covered dunes and has bath facilities available.

Sun Retreats Rehoboth Bay Resort

Sun Retreats Rehoboth Bay is a premier destination located off of Rehoboth Bay in Long Neck. With easy access to the bay and the Atlantic Ocean, the Sun Retreats resort is one of the best campgrounds to visit in Delaware. Seasonal camping is offered for spacious full hook up sites. They have great amenities such as a swimming pool, basketball court, WiFi, and activities. Explore the boardwalk or take the Cape May Lewis Ferry. Trap Pond State Park

Trap Pond is home to the northernmost, naturally occurring Baldcypress trees. The park has around 9 miles of canoe and kayak trails with rentals available. Campers enjoy viewing wildlife, fishing, boating, disc golf, playgrounds, picnics, hiking, and biking. The sites have water and electricity and are set along the pond’s northern shore under hardwood trees and loblolly pines.

Delaware Seashore State Park

Delaware Seashore State Park is within walking distance to the Atlantic Ocean so it’s the perfect place to camp for beach lovers. Located in Rehoboth, this state park is popular amongst nature lovers. It borders the Indian River where you can hike or bike along the trail. The park is six miles along the coast drawing many fishermen to the area. The nearby Indian River Life-Saving Station was built in 1876 and was used to respond to shipwrecks, now used as an event space and educational center.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park at Delaware Beach

Located in Lincoln, Delaware, the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park is a charming theme that appeals to both kids and adults. There are many amenities and activities that are offered. The resort style activities include theme weekends to entertain the whole family. The park is located just minutes away from Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach, the Lewes, as well as shopping malls, restaurants, Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge and much more!
